Subsea compression

Our field proven subsea compression systems provide robust and flexible solutions with the highest flowrates and pressure ratio capabilities in the industry.

Why OneSubsea compression?
Placing the compressor on the seabed saves the considerable cost of building and operating a topside facility and, with the compressor closer to the wellhead, you can benefit from increased production because of a lower pressure drop in the pipeline downstream. This means you use less power – and have a lower carbon footprint – than with alternative solutions.
Core benefits

Application

  • Conventional compression systems for high-capacity applications, in compliance with the most stringent requirements and able to tolerate the most challenging conditions
  • Well stream compression systems for low- and medium-capacity applications
  • Compensate for the losses generated in the production line between the subsea wells and the topside host

Features

  • Wet gas compressor designed for pressure boosting an unprocessed well stream, based on our multiphase boosting pumps
  • Can operate in any flow regime and tolerates sand and solids
  • Our integrated approach ensures all risks are identified and mitigated in the early stages of field development planning to provide complete system availability
