Why use OneSubsea cryogenic transfer?
Our capabilities provide the reliable transfer of LNG from ship to ship or from ship to offshore terminals. Our offshore cryogenic transfer (OCT) technology is based on a tandem ship-to-ship configuration that has been used most successfully in oil transfer for more than 30 years.

  • Safe transfer of LNG between floating vessels

  • System built around an A-frame crane extending from stern of the FLNG vessel towards the bow of the LNG carrier

  • Contains three corrugated stainless steel vacuum-insulated pipes for LNG
  • One pipe used for a vapor return loading facility in the bow
  • OCT system can accommodate and separation distance of up to 100m
